Kala Deeksha is an initiative by Kalantar to impart free art education to under privileged children, youth & women. The institute is running its centres at various government primary schools as well as self-owned centres. Students from Kala Deeksha have won various prizes at various levels in the country. May it be a slum or a prison, an orphanage school or an underprivileged society, an under-construction site or a begger on a street, Kala-Deeksha is a place where people from any such place can come over and take free art classes. Art is a tool to ease mind and we believe that this tool must be given to everyone in the society.
